Justin Bieber was supported by his wife Hailey Baldwin as he hyped up the crowd before YouTube star Jake Paul’s short and sweet boxing match on Saturday night.

Jake took on former UFC fighter Ben Askren at Mercedes-Benz stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, and triumphed in just under two minutes.

Luckily Justin’s performance lasted a bit longer than that as he led the musical section of the night which saw spectators entertained by the likes of Doja Cat and Saweetie.

The singer, 27, kept his performance largely stripped back but did treat people to a light show partway through.

Justin’s outfit was equally lowkey, as he sported a white top, black jeans, white trainers and a bright orange hat on stage.

His appearance was one of his most high profile in person gigs after his livestreamed show for New Year’s Eve last year, the first time he took to the stage since 2017.

The star performed with enthusiasm throughout his set and was backed by a live band. At one point Justin hopped onto an electric keyboard to join in with the other instruments.

Also on the bill were The Black Keys and Major Lazer.

Hailey shared some snaps with her husband from the event, including a romantic pic of the pair cosying up to each other with their faces close together.

She captioned a further photo of them together: ‘My love.’

It comes as the Never Say Never singer opened up about his mental health at the height of his success, which prompted him to drop out of his Purpose world tour four years ago.

‘There was a sense of still yearning for more,’ he said to GQ.

‘It was like I had all this success and it was still like, “I’m still sad, and I’m still in pain. And I still have these unresolved issues”. And I thought all the success was going to make everything good.’

He went on to describe his drug use as ‘a numbing agent’ so he could cope with the pressures of fame.

Justin credits his faith with helping him turn his life around, and he is now a happily married man to model Hailey, 24, and a regular churchgoer.
