Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt have remained great mates after their relationship ended way back in 1996 – and her husband Brad Falchuk is totally here for it too.

The actress and Goop founder, 50, revealed her husband Brad, 51, is completely respectful of her staying friends with her ex Brad, 58. (And clearly she has a thing for Brads…)

Gwyneth and Brad had been one of the most famous couples of the 90s, getting engaged in 1996 before splitting later that year.

While they initially did not stay in touch, the pair managed to rekindle their friendship once enough time had passed.

She told ET: ‘When we first broke up, we weren’t friends for a while and then we sort of found our way back, probably about 18 or 19 years ago, something like that, and then just kind of stayed in touch over the years.

‘I adore him. He’s an amazing person, and he’s a great entrepreneur, and such a creative, and such a good person. I really love him. I’m a big fan.’

Gwyneth married her husband in 2018 and says he has no issue with her maintaining a great relationship with her exes.

She explained: ‘My husband is probably like the least judgmental, most secure man in our relationship, so I think he totally respects [the friendship].

‘Probably one of the things that he likes about me is that I believe in conscious uncoupling, whether you’re uncoupling with a coworker, a spouse, a boyfriend, I really do believe that if you’ve invested in somebody – and of course there are exceptions – to amputate that relationship [shows that] maybe you’re not then fully letting the full lesson reveal itself and the healing happen.

‘So even though sometimes it can be uncomfortable, I think it’s nice to work through it and reconnect with the value that that person brought to your life.’

Gwyneth added that she and her husband have also learned a lot from their past marriages (hers with Coldplay’s Chris Martin and his with Suzanne Bukinik) and rate communication as one of the most important factors in making their own marriage work.
