Maya Jama has opted for comfort at her latest A-list Halloween bash, dressing up as a grandma, albeit one who’s ‘ready to party’.

In previous years, the new Love Island host has gone all out in extravagant outfits such as Medusa, Jessica Rabbit, a mermaid and Cleopatra – but this time around she went for a knee-length printed pink dress, grey cardigan, sensible shoes and a string of pearls with a grey wig.

However, the Glow Up presenter did make great use of make-up, having prosthetics applied to her her face and hands to create wrinkles and liver spots, as well as greying eyebrows.

Although she had to get around with a walking stick, ‘Bad Grandma’ was ready to hit the town and party it up.

Ahead of the bash, Maya posting a photo on Instagram dancing in a hotel hallway and flipping the bird, dancing seductively before making some more rude gestured that showed this senior citizen was ready to be the centre of the attention.

Held at Oslo Hackney, Maya’s party also attracted plenty of other stars who got into the fancy dress spirit… but many tended to stray from trying to look spooky.

Love Island’s Danica Taylor dressed up as an angel in a gold bodysuit, heels and wings, while her co-star Paige Thorne donned a camo bodysuit with green thigh high leather boots, fishnet stockings and a belt made of bullets for a military-inspired outfit.

Antigoni Buxton, on the other hand, embraced her dark side, dressing up as a devil.

Chicken Shop Date’s Amelia Dimoldenberg might have won one of the best dressed guests of the night, with her nod to Britney Spears.

In a custom-made pink bralette, thong, cape and leather pants, the comedian recreated the look from the singer’s 2001 music video I’m a Slave 4 U.

AJ Odudu looked sultry as screen icon Jessica Rabbit, with the host of The Bridge wearing a show-stopping red dress with purple gloves and a wig reminiscent of the cartoon character’s famous red locks.

Presenter and model Priscilla Anyabu was also at the party, who dressed up in a costume sold online as ‘Lil Miss Pot Brownie’.

Instead of selling cookies for charity, this scout veers from her job and decides to make a bit more money with pot brownies.

Comedian Munya Chawawa went with a totally topical outfit, rocking up wearing a cut-out of a Bugatti with a number plate reading ‘MI5OGYNI5T’.

In an Instagram video, he quoted internet personality Andrew Tate who was banned from Instagram and Facebook earlier this year, asking ‘What Color Is Your Bugatti?’.

Hip hop duo Krept and Konan didn’t match their costumes this year, with Krept going for a zombie-like looking figure, while Konan dressed as a character dubbed ‘Lepri-Kones’ on Instagram.

Love Island’s Dami Hope and Indiyah Polak also attended the party as Chucky and his bride, with Dami sporting red-dyed hair and Indiyah going for a short blonde bob.

Guests were delighted to arrive and find that Maya’s Maccy D’s pop up was back to serve up much-needed greasy meals this year, as were the custom cocktails.

This time around they all featured Bacardi, a sponsor of the party, with the drinks boasting names including ‘Magical Maya’, ‘Pina Ghoulada’, ‘Cling Cling Witch’, ‘It’s A Bat Thing’ and ‘Jama Jinx’.

The phost also had performers from her ‘favourite London nightclub’ The Box at the event.

Other guests were spotted dressed up as Neo from The Matrix, The Nutty Professor and Princess Leia.
