This Morning brought the scares for Halloween as a guest was joined by her ghost groom on their wedding day.

Holly Willoughby as left terrified when the spirit – said to be a Victorian soldier called Eduardo – made his presence felt and seemed to take issue with bride-to-be Brocarde talking about their relationship on national television.

At one point, singer songwriter Brocarde was left shaken when her phantom fella made his presence felt by knocking her black tiara off her head.

Holly was spooked and repeatedly asked the guest what was going on, before the bride – who is set to marry Eduardo later today – revealed her man was sitting there with them.

She added: ‘Can’t you see him? He doesn’t like you [Phil[. I’m sorry.’

Her crown kept falling off during the segment, and Brocarde insisted Eduardo was trying to send a sign that he didn’t approve of the interview, given he ‘ghosted’ her last time she appeared on the show.

‘He did ghost me for a week. Maybe he doesn’t approve of being spoken about,’ she joked. ‘Eduardo has ruined my wedding day… It’s not looking good is it?’

Brocarde admitted she hoped her soon-to-be husband wasn’t going to leave her at the altar after the interview, and Phil quipped: ‘How would you know?’

The bride-to-be was a spirit sceptic when she fell in love with Eduardo, first becoming aware of him with a ‘burning sensation’ in her heart and getting propelled forward before feeling ‘cold’

‘It was an unconventional meeting, let’s say that. He kind of burst into my room in the dead of night, captivated me, sensations all over my body. That was our first encounter,’ she said.

‘He communicates by putting sensations through my body… I’ll feel like I’m being embraced,’ she added, noting she feels ‘chills’ down her body if he’s not happy.

‘It’s one of those things that before, I wasn’t one of those people that believed in ghosts,’ she explained. ‘It completely terrified me, the first time I met him.’

She was left in tears over the ‘really intense’ experience, and it ‘converted’ her to believing in ghosts.

Meanwhile, Brocarde also admitted finding a venue for their wedding proved quite difficult with churches having ‘a little bit of an issue in terms of religion and the after life’.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on BT Sport 1.
