This year’s cast of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! will be taking part in the most gruesome Bushtucker trial ever, which will be inspired by Netflix’s Squid Game.
Earlier in the week, fans got an official first glimpse of this year’s star-studded line-up which includes singer boy George, Love Island’s Olivia Attwood and newsreader Charlene White.
The annual survival series presents a wide range of spine-chilling trials, from eating kangaroo genitalia to the infamous Celebrity Cyclone.
But this year, the show will be paying tribute to the 2021 viral sensation Squid Game, which pitted cash-strapped contestants against each other in violent reinterpretations of classic playground games.
A source shared: ‘The Squid Game style challenge is the trial show bosses are most excited about.
The stars are believed to also rock the iconic green tracksuits!

‘Viewers will no doubt know all about Squid Game and its bloodthirsty content, therefore pushing the celebrities into that world will make for exciting telly,’ the insider added to MailOnline.
The upcoming season is currently under the spotlight as former Health Secretary Matt Hancock is believed to enter the jungle as a late arrival alongside comedian Seann Walsh.
Mr Hancock has insisted he will make a donation to charity following his appearance in the jungle, and that he’s reached an agreement with producers that he can be reached for urgent constituency matters.

However, many people aren’t happy, and Mr Hancock has had the Tory whip withdrawn.
Chief whip Simon Hart MP said: ‘Following a conversation with Matt Hancock, I have considered the situation and believe this is a matter serious enough to warrant suspension of the whip with immediate effect.’
Mr Hancock was England’s health secretary at the time leaked CCTV showed him kissing aide Gina Coladangelo in breach of the social distancing guidelines he helped create.

Thousands have also signed a petition calling for Mr Hancock to be axed from the show.
ITV declined to comment when contacted by Metro.co.uk.
I’m A Celebrity 2022 begins on Sunday November 6 at 9pm on ITV, and Squid Game is available to stream on Netflix.
