Radio DJ Chris Moyles has revealed who his ‘nightmare’ campmate would be ahead of his I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! stint.

The 48-year-old is set to join the likes of Boy GeorgeLove Island’s Olivia Attwood and Mike Tindall as a new batch of celebs head into the jungle for some grim bushtucker trials.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are returning to Australia this year with a new batch of celebs, all ready to be put through their paces in some grim and gruesome trials.

This will be the show’s first series Down Under since the pandemic hit, after the crew bid farewell to the beloved Gwrych Castle in North Wales where the previous two series have taken place.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Chris revealed who he wouldn’t want to be camping in the jungle with.

When asked who his ‘nightmare campmate’ would be, Chris replied: ‘Piers Morgan. I really had to think about that. Piers Morgan.

‘Just anybody who is too – and I know a lot of people will find this ironic – but just anybody who is too mouthy and a bit too gobby.’

He told us: ‘I think the trick from watching the show as a viewer, the trick is everybody has got to get on,’ adding that as a viewer less drama ‘you would think would be more boring’, but it’s ‘actually a better show’ when everybody gets on.

‘When you’re in there living it for real, it doesn’t matter if people are different ages, different backgrounds, different jobs, just everyone’s kind of like rooting for each other, and just wants to crack on with it and have a good time and get the most out of it.’

Not yet knowing who would be entering the jungle with him, including former health secretary Matt Hancock, Chris added: ‘I’m hoping this year’s bunch will be like that, we’ll all be nervous I’m sure, I’m sure at least half the people in there will be like me going in there and thinking “I don’t know what I’m doing,” so fingers crossed everyone is all nice in there.’

I’m A Celebrity 2022 launches on Sunday November 6 at 9pm on ITV.
