His casting was one of the most controversial in the history of I’m a Celebrity, with both celebrities and his former colleagues lashing out at the decision, but Matt Hancock has officially made his debut.

The former Secretary of State for Health and Social Care landed one of the biggest deals to appear in the 2022 series, estimated to be around £400,000.

However, his appearance on the show has led to him being suspended from the Tory party and many of his former colleagues at Westminster are said to be voting for him to take on the gross and challenging Bushtucker Trials.

If you, like the good folk at Westminster, want to vote for Matt Hancock to do the trials on the show, here’s how…

Another way to vote is with a number to text.

Hosts Ant and Dec will read these numbers out during the show, and they’ll also appear on screens.

Matt was already chosen to do the Bushtucker Trial which viewers will catch up with in tonight’s episode.

Because the show is filmed in New South Wales, Australia which is nine hours ahead right now, during tonight’s episode, you’ll be voting for him to do the next trial.

At the end of tonight’s show, Ant and Dec will enter the camp live to announce who’s been picked to do the next trial.

The person will then go off and do this after Ant and Dec’s announcement, with viewers getting to watch it in tomorrow’s episode.

I’m a Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
