Chris Rock is set to take centre stage as he becomes the first artist to perform live on Netflix.

The streaming giant confirmed the news on social media with a picture of the Grown Ups star in all white with a goat beside him.

Yes, a goat.

‘Chris Rock is about to make history as the first artist to perform LIVE on Netflix!’ the post read.

‘The legendary comedian, writer, director, and actor’s newest comedy special will premiere live — globally — in early 2023 on Netflix!’

It’s been a rocky rollercoaster for the Madagascar actor, 57, following the infamous Oscar scandal which saw Will Smith slapping the actor onstage.

According to reports, Chris was given the opportunity to share his side of the story with American talk show host Oprah Winfrey, but decided against it.

During his stand-up show in August, he explained that he declined the offer and even a Super Bowl commercial with Will Smith himself,’ an audience member alleged he told the crowd.

‘He said, “You are not gonna see me on any interviews crying my heart out about this. I am not going to be a victim”.’

‘I think we were all wondering if he was going to talk about that incident or not,’ they added to Entertainment Tonight.

More to come….
