I fell in love with a £70 dress but it was too expensive – then I found Zara ‘double’ in charity shop, it’s a bargain

THERE’S nothing more frustrating than spotting an amazing outfit in and shop, but then noticing the high price tag when you’ve gone to buy it.

But one fashion fan has told how she bagged her dream dress after spotting an almost identical one in another shop for a fraction of the price.

TikTok user Ash Reid revealed to her followers that fell in love with a green dress, but was unsure of the colour and thought it was too expensive after noticing that it that came to £70.

However, she then found another dress from Zara that was the ‘double’ of the one she originally loved – and came in a darker colour.

And the best bit was, it only cost £15 from the British Red Cross store in Glasgow.

She took to the popular social media app to tell her follower about the disovery.

In a recent video, Ash said: “Yesterday I was in Next with my friends and I seen this dress in green.

“It was £70 and I was like ‘I like the shape of it but I don’t like the colour, it’s not really a colour I would go for.

“I said I wished they did it darker.

“Then I went into the British Red Cross on Dumbarton Road and found this Zara dress.

“It had been donated by Zara, it was like ex stock.

“It’s honestly the exact same shape as the dress I seen in Next yesterday, and I got it for £15.

“Honestly, what I find. I’m absolutely delighted.

“It’s so nice and fitted, it’s just lovely. And I love the colour of it.

“It’s exactly what I was looking for.”

Ash posted the clip with the caption: “British Red Cross Dumbarton Road, Glasgow sells Zara clothes, new with labels. Pass it on”.

Since it was posted, it quickly racked up more than 7,600 views, 230 likes and 11 shares.

Users flocked to the comments to compliment Ash in the gorgeous outfit.

One person said: “Heading there tomorrow, love this, thanks for sharing”.
