Keke Palmer’s boyfriend Darius Jackson offered a glimpse of the star’s swollen belly hours before the star announced the news during her hosting slot on Saturday Night Live.

Posing for the camera in what looks to be a restaurant, the actress pouted her lips and cradled her stomach in the picture that carried the caption ‘2023’ next to a red love heart emoji. 

Dressed in a beige knit dress that stretched across her baby belly, the film star kept things simple with gold hoop earrings and a classic up-do. 

The couple’s relationship history is fairly unknown as Keke, 28, enjoys living her private life out of the limelight, but it has been reported that the pair have been dating for roughly a year and a half. 

Ahead of her appearance on US late-night television, Darius, 29, uploaded the snap of his girlfriend to his Instagram stories. 

The former child actress hosted one of the final episodes of the show’s 2022 run and revealed her secret during her opening monologue.

Rumours surrounding the celebrity’s potential pregnancy had been swirling for some time before she confirmed what fans already thought they knew by whipping back a blazer jacket to expose her bare stomach. 

After setting ‘the record straight’ on Saturday night, Keke shared her gratitude for her partner who she apparently met at a Memorial Day party hosted by Diddy. 

She posted a gallery of snaps from her evening with SNL – that included her skit with 90s icons Kenan and Kel – and acknowledged Darius in a sweet message.

The caption read: ‘This year has taken me for a ride! And how cool, my baby and I are already doing it all together. 

‘Thank you to my other half @dvulton [Darius] for giving me the things that only true unity can bring. 

‘Love is all we have isn’t it, you do nothing in this world alone and trust me, I am not alone! Very grateful… Happy Holidays!’

Following her upload, celebrity friends left comments of congratulations for the soon-to-be first-time mother.

Vanessa Hudgens wrote: ‘So proud of u mama! And so excited for you MAMA!!!!! [sic]’ 

Kenan Thompson who performed with the star during her stint on SNL left a message of praise: ‘You absolutely destroyed it!!!! So proud and happy for you [sic]’ 

‘Congratulations mama!!! You deserve it all! [sic]’, Jordan Sparks typed. 

The star’s night with SNL followed her critically acclaimed role in blockbuster science fiction horror hit Nope.
