The White Lotus season 2 finale is just days away and fans are busy speculating which characters will be killed off.

Thanks to episode 1, we already know that this series will end in multiple deaths, but the identities of those who leave the gorgeous Sicilian hotel in a bodybag remain firmly under wraps… for now.

If you cast your mind back to the opening scenes, Meghann Fahey’s Daphne goes for one last swim before discovering a body in the water and running back to shore for help.

Moments later, hotel staff member Rocco (Federico Ferrante) tells manager Valentina (Sabrina Impacciatore) that a hotel guest has drowned, and that other guests have also been killed.

Valentina desperately pleads for Rocco to reveal how many people have died, but he doesn’t give an exact number.

So, who do fans think has been killed?

Cameron

Since White Louts season 2 began viewers have seen Ethan (Will Sharpe) under the thumb of his university chum Cameron (Theo James) – but many think that’s all about to change.

So far, Cam has bragged about sh*gging all the women that Ethan has ever fancied and tried to strike up a business deal to no doubt get hold of his millions.

More recently, though, he accompanied his college friend’s wife Harper (Aubrey Plaza) back to her room (which has an interconnecting door that leads to his room), leading Ethan to believe they had a bit of afternoon delight.

So, will it be Cameron that is killed off?

‘Ethan killing Cam based on an exaggerated fear that they actually had sex would be a good heightening of the story,’ one fan believes.

Harper

White Lotus fans are also convinced that Ethan will kill his wife, Harper. In episode 6, Ethan grows more and more convinced that Harper has cheated on him with Cameron.

‘I think Ethan will be extremely enraged and kill her in a similar way that happened in season 1,’ one fan suspects. ‘Build of tension and anger then boom.’

Others believe that Harper will be accidentally murdered in a case of mistaken identity, with the killer actually wanting to see off Lucia (Simona Tabasco).

‘I do think there’s something to Lucia and Harper looking similar and having some mistaken identity turn into anger/killing.’

Mia

Other Redditors are convinced that Mia (Beatrice Grannò) won’t survive the end of the series, and it’s all down to her steamy night with hotel manager Valentia.

Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that Mia has yet to give back the master room card to Valentia after their evening of passion, and this could spell disaster.

‘I think Mia may rob a few rooms using the master key. The White Lotus may be able to see that it was Valentia’s master key and she may be in a position to lose her job or even be replaced by Rocco (who we have recently found out is engaged to her crush).

‘She wants to cover it up and she kills Mia to get away with it.’

The user also notes Valentia’s reaction to the news that multiple people are dead feels ‘very rehearsed’ and ‘fake’.

‘I think she murdered Mia, and someone else was responsible for the other two deaths (she might even get away with it by pinning it on the other murderer),’ they add.

Lucia

Many reckon that fellow sex worker Lucia will end up in a body bag as she continues to chase payment for her and Mia’s services.

Earlier in the series, she and Mia joined Cameron and Ethan for a night of debauchery when Daphne and Harper were out of town.

However, it’s been no secret that Cameron only paid half of what is owed to the women. Could Lucia be killed off in pursuit of her cash?

‘My money is on Ethan accidentally killing Lucia,’ one user wrote. ‘The pimp isn’t Lucia’s actual threat, it’s Ethan spazzing out, and then she hits or head or something when she confronts him again to get paid.’

Taking to Twitter, another suggested that Albie (Adam DiMarco), Lucia’s new holiday friend, could kill Lucia when he finds out that she slept with his father.

‘The drama with Alessio is just there to cause enough drama that Albie will learn his father and Lucia f*cked.

‘But since Lucia lied about this, he will turn his anger towards her.’

Others reckon Lucia’s ties to multiple rooms could link her to being involved in a murder.

‘I think it must have someone to do with rooms now that there’s a master key involved – we know Mia/Lucia are connected to Dom/Bert’s rooms,’ another penned.

‘Also, pretty sure we’re going to find out Lucia is related to them which will lead to Dom’s suicide.’

Portia

Attentive viewers are concerned Portia (Haley Lu Richardson) may be among the dead hotel guests after noticing a rather intriguing t-shirt in episode six.

Many noticed Tanya’s (Jennifer Coolidge) assistant was dressed in a Godfather top, which they think could be foreshadowing her death, although could just be a nod to her visit to the set along with Albie and his family in earlier episodes.

‘This felt like a very important clue,’ one viewer writes. ‘Not to mention, it’s nothing like her typical clothing.’

‘I’ve been thinking she’s going to die in place of Tanya!’ another says.

In fact, many viewers have been feeling the same way, that Portia will take the hit intended for Tanya.

‘She reminds Tanya of herself, but unlike her, she lacks the wealth that often keeps Tanya safe,’ notes another.

Grandpa Bert

Grandpa Bert (F. Murray Abraham) hasn’t been good on his feet at all this series, having taken a dramatic tumble in the first episode to now sporting a bandage on his head.

Unsurprisingly then, White Lotus viewers believe it will be curtains for Bert, and that he’ll die peacefully at the hotel.

‘Grandfather Bert will be passing away as a casualty,’ one fan tweeted. ‘Man’s been tripping everywhere and everyhow, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was concealing some terminal illness but his death would serve a comedic purpose.’

‘I think the grandfather will find a female relative at the last minute and likely pass away,’ another wrote, while a third said: ‘Grandpa’s death would be sort of a homecoming from the motherland which he desires a lot.’

The White Lotus season 2 ends on Sundays on HBO Max in the US and the following day on Sky and NOW in the UK.
