Rejoice! For this Christmas, fans are being blessed with news of a sequel to The Holiday.
The festive rom-com, starring Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet as singletons on a house-swapping adventure over Christmas, has been a favourite to rewatch ever since it came out in 2006.
Reports now say Cameron, Kate and co-stars Jude Law and Jack Black are all on board to revisit their characters’ love stories – with a source claiming that filming is set to start in 2023.
If true it’s all very exciting… but what if you want to revisit The Holiday right now?! Where can you currently stream it?

Where to watch The Holiday this Christmas
The Holiday is currently available to stream for free for Amazon Prime UK subscribers.
If you don’t have a Prime subscription, you can rent the film for £3.49 or buy it on Amazon for £3.99.
Similarly, it’s available online at YouTube (from £2.49), Google Play (£2.49 to rent, or £5.99 to buy) or Apple (from £3.49).
You can also watch the film on ITV’s new streaming service, ITVX, if you pay for their premium subscription.
It costs £5.99 per month, which includes access to the streamer Britbox, though if you’ve yet to sign up you can enjoy a seven-day free trial here.
Around Christmastime, the film often pops up on TV channels’ schedules, so keep your eyes peeled.

Is The Holiday on Netflix UK?
Sadly, The Holiday isn’t available to watch on Netflix UK.
You can watch films such as Bridget Jones’ Baby, He’s Just Not That Into You, Dirty Dancing, Just Like Heaven and 13 Going On 30 on Netflix, so you can still get your rom-com fix.
If it’s a romantic (and cheesy), festive-themed Christmas movie you’re after, Netflix has plenty of choice, from The Princess Switch and Holidate to Lindsay Lohan’s Falling For Christmas.
However, The Holiday was available on Netflix until the end of 2021, so maybe one day it’ll come back…
