Scottish comedian Kevin Bridges has shared a first glimpse of his baby son – and revealed his adorable name.

The comedian, 36, and his wife Kerry welcomed the child last summer and have since preferred to keep their son out of the limelight.

However, fans finally had a glimpse of the newest addition to the family,as Kevin marked the end of a successful tour, where 500,000 people snapped up tickets for his Overdue Catch-Up shows.

Wearing a blue jumper and carrying a black backpack as he walked through a back corridor, the Scottish funnyman carried his baby boy, who wore a cute beige beanie hat with a bobble on top.

The first-time dad told The Scottish Sun that he and his wife, who he married three years ago, named their son Liam.

He and wife Kerry said they were absolutely ‘delighted’ to become parents at the time of his birth in May last year.

‘Five arena tours done! Mental. Thank you to everyone who came out. It’s been a ride,’ Kevin wrote on Instagram, recalling how he’s performed since January in venues ranging from comedy clubs to big arenas.

‘Thank you to everyone who came out. It’s been a ride,’ he added.

‘To 2023, man and god bless the heart to the trigger fans, and my mum, dad, wife and legend of son and my dug – thank you. There we were, now here we are.’

The 36-year-old hit the headlines recently when he incorporated jokes about the Queen’s death into a routine.

During the same set at the Hyro, Bridges also joked former Prime Minister Liz Truss would take the opportunity to ‘add a zero’ onto the new £2,500 price cap on bills.

‘The show is going ahead, she’s not going to be the only old woman to die this winter,’ he then joked.

The response to Bridges’ jokes was divisive, with one noting ‘any true comedian is going to mention a few jokes about the Queen’ – but others felt he was ‘scraping the bottom of the barrel’.
