Emma Bunton is rooting for a Spice Girls reunion – but can’t give away Too Much about when it will happen.

In an exclusive interview with Guilty Pleasures, Baby Spice addressed months of speculation that the band might perform at Glastonbury next year.

They’d been tipped for the coveted Legends spot, at Worthy Farm, following in the footsteps of Kylie Minogue and Diana Ross.

‘There’s always talking, isn’t there? “Oh, the Spices Girls are getting back,”‘ laughed 46-year-old Emma.

‘It was so funny, even last year, a really good friend of mine was at Glastonbury, and she called me and went, “Are you going to come on stage?” I’m like, “No, I’m sure I would have told you!”

‘Do you know what, obviously as the Spice Girls, we love working together, and when the time is right, things kind of happen. But I love, love, love [them], and I can’t wait till we perform again. It’s got to be right for all of us, collectively, so hopefully that’ll happen at some point soon.’

The 90s icons last toured together, sans Posh, in 2019, and earlier this week Emma was joined by bandmate Mel C for her glitzy Christmas Party show at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London.

‘The whole lead-up [to performing], sometimes I feel like I haven’t done it before, I’m that nervous. But as soon as it’s all together and I hit that stage, my goodness, it’s just the best feeling,’ she gushed.

As for releasing new music in 2023, the mum-of-two, who shares children Beau, 15, and Tate, 11, with hubby Jade Jones, doesn’t Wannabe too committal.

‘I do always think about it… that is my happy place,’ the Maybe singer teased, adding: ‘I’ve got a busy year with my eldest, who is going into their GCSEs. It’s about getting the balance right, isn’t it?’

Emma, who has her own baby essentials range Kit & Kin, has collaborated with Amazon on a children’s book called Uncle Jay’s Dream Team. It is available free of charge on Kindle now and later as a free audiobook on Audible, which she narrated.

She also recently visited the company’s Tilbury Fulfilment Centre to spice up the lives of employees.
