I got ‘It girl’ products for Xmas to see if they’d change my life – here’s what I made of the viral Marc Jacobs tote

“This year for Christmas I asked for all the ‘It girl’ products,” she began.
“All the products that those really cool girls swear they changed their life… and I’m trying them out so you don’t have to.”
Of the tote bag, she said: “This was one of my big presents this year and I love her.
“I always see girls in Target with these in their little shopping carts and I’m obsessed. I love it.
“This is the medium and it holds a tonne.
“I think the small would have been too small for me and I think the large would have been too large.
“But the medium? She’s just right. I love her.”
In another video, Brooke responded to someone insisting they couldn’t see what the appeal of the bag was.
“I got this for under $200,” she said.
“And for this to be a designer bag, and of designer quality – it’s an affordable luxury.
“A lot of people dream of having a designer bag, and the fact you can get one that’s this big – that can hold all of your c**p for less than $200?
“That’s very appealing for a lot of people.”
She added that the bag was also casual enough for her to use on a daily basis – while her Louis Vuitton Never Full made her feel “goofy” when she used it to go to the supermarket.
“All the people hating on the Tote Bag remind me of the old men who hate on ripped jeans,” Brooke wrote in a comment on the video.
“‘Why’d you buy it like that’ bc I like it, Bill, that’s why.”
“I will never understand the hype of the tote bag,” someone else argued.
To which Brooke replied: “I just needed something casual and durable for my laptop that I don’t feel stupid putting in my grocery cart (like I did with the Never Full)
“And I just think they’re fun and a little ‘campy’.”
