Andy Ruiz Sr. Wants His Son to “Beat the S*** Out of Dillian Whyte”
After a dominant win for his lost WBC Interim crown, Dillian Whyte doesn’t have a relevant contender in line to take him on. While he can rightfully challenge Tyson Fury for the WBC belt, he will have to wait until the heavyweight unification fight plays out.
Hence, Whyte might require a few more fights to remain active, and former unified champion Andy Ruiz Jr. can be a viable opponent. ‘The Destroyer’ will return to action against Chris Arreola on May 1. After the fight, he can rightfully aim for a bigger name in Dillian Whyte.
Meanwhile, Andy Ruiz Jr’s father has already envisioned his son squaring off with the WBC Interim champion. He has predicted that his son will dominate.
“I think I would like this guy Whyte, Dillian Whyte. Because he will be talking a lot of s*** to my son. And I want my son to beat the s*** out of Dillian Whyte,” said Ruiz Jr’s father.

Although Whyte has showcased his prowess several times, he has never faced Ruiz Jr. While the Mexican heavyweight has a glittery memory of vanquishing Anthony Joshua, he can rightfully boast of his chances of beating Dillian ‘The Body Snatcher’ Whyte.
Dillian Whyte vs Andy Ruiz Jr- Who deserves the title shot first?
After losing the unified title to Anthony Joshua in a rematch, Ruiz Jr’ went away from the limelight and transformed himself. Now, a win over Arreola can validate his spot as a championship contender. However, he might not surpass Dillian Whyte in the race.
‘The Body Snatcher’ bounced back from his defeat against Alexander Povetkin with a thunderous KO win to become the WBC mandatory. He has been waiting for his shot at the title for years, and it’s finally the time to fight for the ultimate gold, but Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have reportedly locked in for a two-fight contract. Hence, the division will be on hold until Fury and Joshua collide.
That said, Ruiz Jr and Whyte would be elite opponents and keep each other sharp and ready ahead of a fight against either Fury or ‘AJ’. If it gets booked, how would you envision a fight between ‘The Destroyer’ and ‘The Body Snatcher’ unfolding?
