But those who actually worked in the shop begged fellow shoppers not to do the same.

Taylor posted the video with the caption: “Last minute Christmas shopping did not go as planned.”

In the short clip she can be seen grabbing a large wicker basket with a lid from a top shelf.

She opened up the container and said: “This looks nice.”

The TikToker then placed all of her shopping inside the basket, closed it and put it back on the shelf.

The influencer intended to come back to the shop when the line had died down so she wouldn’t have to wait as long to make her purchases.

But employees of the famous chain weren’t impressed.

One person said: “As a TK Maxx employee don’t do this, management is going to assume you’re stealing since people who actually steal put all their items in whatever big storage containers and walk straight out of the store.”

Another said: “As an employee- we can hold your items until the end of the day. Please don’t do this to us.

“We already want to die with the long lines.”

A third said: “As a TK Maxx employee we absolutely hate when people do this. You can put stuff on hold.”

Another said: “I work at TK Maxx and I purposefully look in baskets to put all the items away.”

While another said: “Why I quit TK Maxx. Customers like these make me so mad. Then they get mad when it’s not there like: ‘I know, because it doesn’t belong there.’”

And another said: “So much extra work for the employees.”
