But it turns out there is only one way to put a bra on. 

And the method you use could be limiting the life of your bra and costing you money.

Kelly is a bra expert and she works in a lingerie store.

In a recent video she shared the correct and incorrect ways to put on a bra.

Kelly said: “How do you put your bra on? Preserve the life of your bra by putting it on correctly.”

Kelly showed some incorrect ways of putting on a bra. 

First clipping the back of the bra, putting you arms through the straps and putting it over you head. 

Kelly said: “No no no.”

Next clipping the back of the bra and stepping into it and pulling it over your hips and up to your chest before squeezing your arms through. 

The lingerie expert says: “No no no.”

And definitely way more hassle than any other method. 

Next probably the most common way to put a bra on.

Clipping the back in front of you before twisting the bra around so the clips are behind you and looping your arms through the straps. 

Kelly said: “No no no.”

Then Kelly revealed the correct way of putting on a bra. 

Lopping your arm through the straps and reaching behind you to clip the bra behind you back. 

You’re also recommended to adjust your boobs in the front so they sit properly. 

The video went viral with over 3.9 million views but viewers insisted the twisting method was simpler and they weren’t prepared to change it.
