Michelle Keegan has revealed one of her good pals is taking part in this winter’s Love Island – makeup artist Lana Jenkins.
But Lana isn’t the only acquaintance of the Brassic star to be hunkering down in South Africa over the coming weeks – one of Michelle’s body doubles, Olivia Hawkins, is also part of this year’s lineup.
Michelle, 35, gave Laura a shout-out ahead of Love Island’s kick off next week, saying: ‘So our girl is going into Love Island. Genuinely one of the nicest girls you’ll ever meet.’
Writing on Instagram, she added: ‘Go and smash it darlin’,’ alongside Lana’s official Love Island contestant photo.
Lana, 25, hails from Luton and ahead of her villa debut, admitted to ‘falling in love quickly’, having previously told people she loves them within a week.
She said: ‘I tend to know quite soon if I could fall in love with that person and then, as long as everything is going well, I’ll probably tell them I love them in about a week.’

However, Lana warned that the men in the villa had better watch their step, saying: ‘If I see a guy trip over, that’s an instant turn off.’
Eagle-eyed viewers may recognise Lana she was an extra on Benidorm at the age of six.
Meanwhile, Michelle’s former body double, 27-year-old Olivia, will also be vying to be crowned winner of this year’s show.
In the past, Olivia has been a body double not only for Michelle, but also Emma Watson and has also worked as a ring girl for KSI and played a waitress in a James Bond movie.
Of what she thinks she’ll bring to the show, Brighton-based Olivia said: ‘Fun vibes and maybe a little bit of drama. I’m a very confident, bubbly person.’
She also said that she’s ‘ready to settle down’ after never having been in a relationship, explaining that she now wants to find the love of her life.
