The Brit Awards 2023 has added some major names to the list of performers, including US megastar Lizzo.

Set to take place on February 11, the Brit Awards 2023 with Mastercard is set to be one of the biggest yet – which is saying something considering last year’s ceremony saw the one and only Adele take to the stage to belt out tracks from her new album.

Lizzo made her own glorious comeback in 2022 with chart-topper About Damn Time, for which she is nominated for song of the year, as well as international artist of the year.

It’s not the first time Lizzo has performed at the prestigious UK awards show, having previously taken to the stage in 2020 after shooting to massive fame in 2019 thanks to earworm Truth Hurts.

Also joining Lizzo at the O2 for the ceremony will be Becky Hill, David Guetta and Ella Henderson, who clinched a number one track with Crazy What Love Can Do in 2022.

It will mark Becky’s first time singing at the awards show, though she won the award for British dance act last year and is up for the same gong this year.

The star was ecstatic as she announced the news she would be performing, saying it was ‘what dreams are made of.’

She added: she was ‘so excited to be performing alongside David Guetta
who handed me my Best Dance Act Brit last year.

‘This is a real moment for me and with another Britnom this year is an incredible way to start 2023.’

DJ Guetta, meanwhile, said it was ‘a great honour to be nominated for the Brit awards, as I have always felt a strong connection to British music and
culture and had amazing experiences here.’

He noted that the ridiculously catchy track, I’m Good, is his seventh number one hit in the UK, sharing his thanks to the public for continuing to support him.

‘The UK dance scene is full of incredible artists, so to be recognised once again means a lot to me. This collaboration with Bebe is the gift that keeps on giving, and we are both so grateful to be nominated.’

Lizzo and Becky’s performance announcements come as the line-up is already jam-packed with A-listers, including Wet Leg, Cat Burns, Sam Smith and Kim Petras.

Oh, and a little unknown act called Harry Styles.

Former One Direction icon haarry is tied with up-and-coming band Wet Leg for the act with the most amount of nominations, having both clinched four.
