Drew Barrymore has taken an interview to the next level after dressing up as killer doll M3GAN when speaking to the movie’s star Allison Williams.
The horror flick centres on an artificial intelligence doll created by roboticist Gemma (Allison) to be ‘a child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally’, but then takes her role as a protector too far.
If you still get chills thinking about Chucky, it might be time to look away after Drew, 47, thought it would be fun to transform herself into the character.
Kicking off the segment, she was seen wearing the doll’s signature dress and a wig of blonde hair, as well as blue contact lenses.
Speaking in a totally unsettling tone, she addressed the audience: ‘Hi, I’m Megan and I’m a creepy doll, murder robot that has taken over the internet and movie screens and our next guest invented me.’
When Allison walked out, she looked nervous to see Drew and stood back until eventually deciding to lean in for a hug.

As they hugged her face dropped and she was seen mouthing: ‘oh my god’.
Things got even weirder once the interview began, and Drew stayed in character to ask Allison how she settled on the name M3GAN.
However soon after Drew/M3GAN admitted that the contact lenses were making her acting efforts difficult, and things started falling apart when one actually fell out.

‘I do feel like my eyeballs are falling apart,’ she said while trying to adjust them.
‘But then again, you could just take me to your workshop and fix me. Just after I kill the neighbour’s dog.’
Left speechless at several points Allison added: ‘I’m just continuing to adjust in real-time to this being the way this is happening…just to let you in [on] any lag in response time to your questions.’

At one point in the segment Drew recreated M3EGAN’s dance from the movie and even started crawling on the floor.
Once she gave up and took the wig off, she thanked her guest for ‘going along with all that’.

Since being released earlier this month critics have labelled the movie ‘bonkers but brilliant’, with some scenes even changed to ensure it could get a PG13 rating.
