Good Morning Britain had an unexpected new addition to the presenting team thanks to an ad break catching a crew member off-guard.
The mystery crew member was seen walking onto the set just as the show returned, with Adil Ray and Susanna Reid noticing the error immediately.
Despite his efforts to go undetected, Adil quickly called out the mistake and said: ‘Was that our crew just walking in front of shot? Amazing. The floor manager, amazing.’
‘It looked like an action shot!’ Susanna declared, trying to support the behind-the-scenes team member.
We think it was a pretty smooth move actually – maybe he should have his hat thrown into the ring to replace Piers Morgan?
There’s a gap open after the controversial presenter quit after all…
Today’s episode of GMB proved highly emotional with the family of Folajimi Olubunmi-Adewole appearing to commemorate the hero’s life.
The 20-year-old, known to most as Jimi, died after jumping into the Thames river in a bid to save a woman, but drowned in his efforts.
Susanna was seen getting emotional and struggling to talk as she spoke to the heartbroken family, supporting a new campaign to allow Jimi to receive an award for his bravery.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
