Line of Duty series 6 finale photo: Kate Fleming looks shaken in shootout as major character is tipped for death
*Warning: This article contains major spoilers for Line of Duty series 6 episode 6.
A new photo from the final of Line of Duty series 6 has been released and Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure) is clearly shaken as she’s joined by Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) in what appears to be a shootout with fatal results.
On Sunday the latest series of Line of Duty will come to a close with several major characters looking as though their days are numbered.
A dramatic new trailer released on Monday showed Jo Davidson (Kelly Macdonald) startled in the back of a police van, accompanied by one of the officers who appeared to warn she was being watched by the OCG (Organised Crime Group) from behind bars at the end of the latest episode.
After being arrested for conspiring to kill Kate, murdering Ryan Pilkington (Gregory Piper) as well as a long list of other charges, Jo found herself in one of the most suffocating AC-12 interviews yet.
During her grilling, she revealed she had been coerced into a life of crime by her father and uncle Tommy Hunter.

DS Patricia Carmichael (Anna Maxwell Martin), who lead the investigation, appeared to divert the conversation from ties to the OCG and fans think she may have revealed a clue about the elusive ‘H’ while tapping her pen.
Subsequently, it seems unlikely Jo will make it out of the final alive.
However, also tipped to be getting the chop is Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar), who has been forced into early retirement as AC-12 is about to be disbanded for good.
Among those predicting Hastings will meet a grim end this Sunday is Craig Parkinson, who starred as bent copper Matthew ‘Dot’ Cottan until series three and now hosts the Obsessed With Line of Duty podcast with BBC Sounds.
‘I was never worried about Kate but I think what [the show’s creator and writer Jed Mercurio] was very mischievously trying to do was signpost that it could be Steve,’ he said in the latest episode.
‘But now after this episode, with those images of what Ted’s been reduced to, and physically and mentally where he is, yes, I do believe he’s going to exit the show and he deserves nothing but a hero’s exit.’
Line of Duty series six concludes Sunday at 9pm on BBC One.
