After much anticipation, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have finally revealed the name of their baby girl: Bambi.
The Love Island stars, both 23, announced the arrival of their daughter on Monday evening in an adorable Instagram post.
Having kept fans guessing over the name of their first-born child, Molly-Mae shared a post on Tuesday, announcing: Bambi.
Her name had been written in bright lights above her crib, surrounded by clouds and fluffy white pillows, as well as an adorable Disney plush toy of the beloved deer beside the baby.
Last year, Molly-Mae had teased that she would be picking a ‘really, really unusual and a different name’ for her little girl, having said that she had the name picked out since she was a young girl herself.
But what does the name Bambi mean?

The name Bambi, for most of us, links back to the 1942 Disney film which follows the adventures of the young fawn of the same name.
In the film, Bambi, after the tragic loss of his mother, takes the place of his father and becomes the Great Prince of the Forest.
However, the root of the name actually comes from another culture.
Originating in Italy, Bambi can mean a young girl or ‘child’, a diminutive of the word ‘bambina’.

Sharing the joyful news with their followers, Molly wrote: ‘One week old today. I can’t believe we get to keep you forever.

Ahead of the reveal, some fans had been guessing the name Bambi across social media.
One person said: ‘I know the name. Somebody I know who is close to Molly’s manager’s family or something knows the name. It’s Bambi.’
A second added: ‘It’s Bambi apparently.’
