Love Island fans disgusted by Ron Hall asking Tanyel Revan ‘to spoon’ after getting back together with Lana Jenkins-Tori Brazier-Entertainment – Metro

Love Island fans were not impressed by Ron Hall and Tanyel Revan’s high jinks on Tuesday night’s episode, after the business of ‘spooning’ came up.

Ron had just sweetly reconciled with Lana Jenkins after she revealed she would rather be ‘wing woman’ to Casey O’Gorman after coupling up with him to explore their connection.

That had left Ron in a friendship couple with Tanyel, and he was only too delighted to accept the attentions of Lana once more – not that Casey was happy about the speed at which they moved.

However, with the two lovebirds still paired up in different couples, they took a different approach to sleeping arrangements.

While Lana got the bed to herself with Casey sleeping outside, Ron and Tayel opted to keep sharing together.

Ron then cheekily asked of their new status: ‘Does this mean we can’t spoon now?’

Tanyel responded: ‘We can always spoon, we’re besties.’

However, it seems the great British public was not on board with this exchange.

As viewers cried red flags galore, one commented: ‘If I was in this show and the manz I fancy had a girl best mate and says, “so we can’t spoon anymore?” I would personally do a kill bill [sic].’

‘I did not just hear Ron asking Tanyel for a spoon 5 minutes after being gassed he’s back with Lana??? WTF’ wrote another.

‘So Ron went from “she’s found her way back home” to “does this mean we can’t spoon anymore”. This man is diabolical,’ read one complaint.

Applauding Casey’s move, an impressed fan pointed out: ‘Casey is a gent till the end, let the woman who wronged him sleep comfortably, whilst the guy she chose is worried he can’t spoon another woman.’

As the episode moved on to the famous Heart Rate Challenge, where the boys followed by the girls donned outfits to impress the opposite sex while they showed off their best moves, it seemed there was more trouble in paradise.

Tanyel admitted that Ron gave her favourite performance, dressed as a builder.

Love Island returns tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
