Love Island has said goodbye to another couple, with Ellie Spence and Jordan Odofin forced to pack their suitcases.
Following another public vote, Olivia Hawkins and Kai Fagan, and Samie Elishi and Tom Clare were also in the bottom three, as audiences at home deemed them the least compatible.
Alas, it was Ellie and Jordan who had to say their goodbyes, both gutted after feeling like their journeys were ‘just getting started.’
Ellie in particular said she felt like she was on the cusp of finding something special, while Jordan boldly claimed he went into the South African villa searching for a wife.
Speaking after their departure, Ellie said that it was ‘such a shock’ to have been dumped.
‘It’s bittersweet, I was just about to get going again in there, I feel like I had so much more to give and was ready to find my man. I had the most amazing experience, but I wasn’t ready to leave!’, she said sadly.

She insisted that her coupling with fellow dumpee Jordan was ‘completely platonic’, but admitted it was ‘so nice to have a confidant in there.’
In terms of who she had her eye on, Ellie confessed her initial attraction was solely to Ron Hall, before she took a closer look at Tom.
‘I always thought he was good looking but I was so focussed on Ron when I arrived. Once I turned my attention to Tom he was already in a triangle with other girls in the villa, which is why we were so secretive about it. We left it on such good terms, after we spoke about it we both felt we were on the exact same page,’ she explained.
Meanwhile, Jordan insisted ‘everything happens for a reason’, saying he was ‘happy’ with how long he was able to stay in the villa.
‘It was a once in a lifetime experience. I would definitely recommend it,’ he said of his Love Island experience.

‘I went in there being open and wanting to find a genuine person on a romantic level. I didn’t find that, but all in all it was great.’
To be honest, not all viewers are mad about tonight’s outcome.
In fact, many are rejoicing over Jordan’s exit in particular, given that he got Tanyel Revan dumped from the villa just days ago when he chose Ellie over her.
Calling their connection a ‘platonic friendship couple’, he did say that he wouldn’t rule something else happening further down the line.
But, the rest of the Islanders took Tanyel’s exit badly (as did Twitter), with Ron and Samie moved to tears.
Sharing their commentary on the results of the latest dumping, Twitter users claimed Jordan’s exit was ‘karma’ for his past actions.
One tweeted: ‘jordan would have been staying if he picked tanyel js’.

‘Jordan just sent himself home by picking Ellie over Tanyel. You love to see it’, joked another.
Another sassy viewer wrote: ‘you see Jordan? had you picked tanyel instead of that dead girl perhaps you wouldn’t be packing your bags’.
Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX this Sunday at 9pm.
