Jack Whitehall takes cheeky swipe at Orlando Bloom as he prepares for Brit Awards 2021

Jack Whitehall has already started taking the mick out of celebs after sharing that he’s on the ‘Orlando Bloom’ diet.

Jack, famous for winding up Harry Styles, Lizzo and Cheryl and Liam in previous years, will be back hosting the ceremony in a fortnight.

It means he’s in a race against time to be able to slip into his tux after loading up on lockdown calories — and that’s where Orlando’s much-ridiculed brekky routine comes in.

‘Yes, it’s back on the Hollywood diet for me in the run-up to the Brits, having let myself go during lockdown,’ said the 32-year-old.

‘I’m going full Bloom in preparation of being back on stage.

‘It’ll have to be brain oil and new oats, whatever it is you need to get that Hollywood physique.

‘There will be training sessions and Peloton rides to be camera-ready.’

Of course, Jack was referring to Orlando’s recent interview where the 43-year-old said he started each day with 20 minutes of Buddhist chanting before a breakfast of ‘green powders that I mix with brain octane oil, a collagen powder for my hair and nails and some protein’.

The comedian has been busy in the kitchen as bosses waited to see if the Brits would return this year.

‘I realised I like taking my foot off the accelerator more than I’d imagined,’ Jack added. ‘I did a lot of decadent cooking — things you marinade for days.’

He is chuffed that the first big post-pandemic indoor event has invited 2,500 NHS and key-worker heroes. Posing with this year’s double trophy, Jack said: ‘They’re the people who most deserve a night to let their hair down. It will be very special — heroes in the room.’

Maya Jama and Clara Amfo will be presenting backstage.

Mix: We’re leaning on each other after Jes-xit

Little Mix is having group therapy to help them cope as a trio following the departure of bandmate Jesy Nelson.

Channelling an ’80s aerobics vibe in their figure-hugging outfits and shades, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall insist it is ‘all systems go in the Little Mix world’ since Jesy, 29, walked out on them in December.

‘It’s just learning to adapt. I think it’s quite exciting’, admitted 28-year-old Jade. ‘And we got off to a good start as a three by having our No.1 single in the UK.

‘That was like, “Oh, wow, this is a good sign, good omen that this year is going to be good for us”.’

Perrie, 27, added to Euphoria magazine: ‘We love going to therapy together.

‘We also have each other, which is huge. We’re each other’s support system in a way because we’re sisters and feel every emotion together. We can always lean on each other.’

Little Mix are hoping to shift the odds at the Brits in two weeks’ time, having only managed to win two awards out of an impressive ten nominations during their career.

Standing in their way for best group will be The 1975, Young T & Bugsey, Bicep and Biffy Clyro.

They have been showing the judging panel what they are made of after recently dropping new track Confetti, now featuring Saweetie.

GoT ancestor Rhaenyra faces her Daemon

Beachgoers in Cornwall must have been rather throne by the sight of former Doctor Who Matt Smith with flowing blond locks and leather Targaryen garb.

Matt, 38, was shooting the Game of Thrones prequel, House Of The Dragon, at Holywell Bay near Newquay, with co-star Emma D’Arcy, 28.

They play Prince Daemon Targaryen and Princess Rhaenyra in a story that unfolds 300 years before the original hit fantasy series.

Rhaenyra is an ancestor of Emilia Clarke’s mother of dragons character, Daenerys Targaryen, in GoT.

The HBO show, which drops next year, also counts Olivia Cooke and Paddy Considine among the cast.

Billie’s flight of fantasy

Billie Eilish’s hotly-anticipated second album, Happier Than Ever, explores ‘male fantasy’.

Billie, 19, recently sparked romance rumours by stepping out for cuddles and coffee with actor Matthew Tyler Vorce.

Lana has more on the Rey

Lana Del Ray is rivalling Taylor Swift as the busiest bee in the music biz after announcing her third album in 12 months.

Lana, 35, has yet to release Rock Candy Sweet in June — a follow-up to March’s Chemtrails Over The Country Club. Now she says Blue Banisters will also drop a month later.

Game’s up! Natalie a mum

Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer has revealed she and her actor partner David Oakes secretly had a lockdown baby, a daughter, in January.

‘I’m probably being a bit of a cliché,’ said the 39-year-old. ‘She’ll probably be sitting in a bar in 30 years’ time going, “Yeah, I’m a Covid baby”.’

We’re OK, says OC Rachel

Rami Malek has forgiven The OC’s Rachel Bilson for revealing his sense of humour failure when she posted a throwback snap of them. Rachel, 39, said: ‘Rami and I have talked, he was so sweet and we’re fine.’
