Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway has been on our screens for over two decades now, and never fails to provide plenty of laughs.

Since launching in 2002, the ITV variety show has plated up a mixture of live and pre-recorded entertainment and quiz segments.

Proving popular with audiences, it has earnt several awards including Most Popular Entertainment Programme at the National Television Awards and the BAFTA for Entertainment Programme in 2013.

Long-time hosts Anthony McPhartlin and Declan Donnelly have also picked up plenty of nods for fronting the show.

Although there was a hiatus for four years between 2009 and 2013 while the presenters worked on other projects, it later returned, much to the relief of long-time fans.

This week it was announced that the nineteenth season would be returning next week, with new and exclusive features, live surprises, celebrity guests, old favourites and outrageous stunts on the cards.

But when exactly does it start, what can we expect, and just where can people snap up tickets?

Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway returns live to ITV1 and ITVX on Saturday February 25 for what ITV has promised will be the ‘happiest ninety minutes of the week’.

This time around we’ve already been teased with plenty of information about some of the fun things in store.

Some of the UK’s biggest celebrities will feature this year, with Joe Wicks and Claudia Winkleman starring in brand new and hilarious editions of I’m A Celebrity…Get Out Of Me Ear! and Alison Hammond and Rylan as the next unwitting victims of their very own Undercovers.

Viewer favourites including Ring My Bell, Singalong Live and Win the Ads are back, while there are some fantastic End of the Show Shows planned throughout the season.
