I’m a stylist and there’s something I always chuck out of people’s wardrobes – it always makes your legs look short

The fashion pro revealed that chucking this item out had nothing to do with it being untrendy, and said it does nothing for most people.

Caitlyn said: “This is purely because it is typically not flattering on someone’s figure.

“A round toe pump has got to go.”

The stylist explained that a round toed shoe always shortens people’s legs – which is never the illusion you want to go for.

She added: “Stick to a pointed toe, I’ve also been loving a square, elongated toe if you’re into something that’s a little bit more trendy.”

“Long legs always the goal,” she captioned th epost.

The video soon went viral with over 355k views and 7,900 likes.

People quickly took to the comments section to share their opinions, and it seemed many were divided about Caitlyn’s advice.

One wrote: “Girl I have size 10 feet, pointed toe got me looking like the wicked witch of the west.”

Another person added: “I’m fine with this. I’m 6’2 in heels, don’t mind if the round toe makes me look a little shorter.”

“Wrong! Round toe pumps are awesome! Square toes are horrible looking,” penned a third.

Many others agreed with the stylist’s fashion adivce.

One person commented: “Omg someone finally said it.”

A second wrote: “I went through a phase where all my shoes had a pointed toe because I have short legs lmao glad to know that 19-23 year old me was onto something.”

“YESSS, these are so ugly, unflattering and everything in between,” claimed another.
