I own no bras – I used to wear them all the time, but people say what happened to me is very common

A FORMER bra devotee confessed she totally skips the shaping garment after years of less frequent use.

She was surprised to hear her experience isn’t abnormal – in fact, dozens of commenters were in the same boat.

Macey is a TikTok user who stopped wearing a bra at home or in publicTikTok @meetagirlnamedmacey

In a video, Macey (@meetagirlnamedmacey) opened up about the habit that became a lifestyle.

Lounging on her bed, Macey walked her TikTok viewers through the process by which she eliminated bras from her wardrobe.

“First, you wear no bras to sleep,” Macey wrote in the caption.

The comfort level won her over, and lead to the logical next step.

“Feels so good you stop wearing bras at home,” she continued. “Then you stop wearing bras out.“

After a while, Macey wasn’t wearing her bras at all anymore, so she decided to make room in her closet.

She got rid of them entirely. “Now you own no bras,” Macey concluded.

In the video’s description, she also issued a warning to anyone who goes down the same path. “Nipps be out,” she wrote.

Macey’s clip resonated with other former bra-wearers, who confirmed their lives are better without the snug garments.

“I haven’t worn a bra in so long,” one admitted.

Another said she’d followed the same trajectory as Macey, writing, “This is exactly how it went for me.”

A handful of men in the comment section were supportive. One said going bra-free was a “beautiful concept.”

Meanwhile, some women confessed they’d been considering going without a bra but had yet to make it a reality.

“I wanna start but I’m scared,” a woman said.

Another argued, “It’s so uncomfy though, I hate not wearing a bra.”

Others were slowly working toward their shared goal.

“I’m still at step two,” said a woman who still wears her bras out in public.

Macey was quick to write back and encourage her.

“DO IT,” she said, cheering the stranger on. “It makes you start to feel so confident and comfortable.”
