It looks like things are going to come to a head(er) in Ted Lasso season three, as the latest teaser shows the happy go lucky football coach whipping his beloved AFC Richmond football team to glory.

In a matter of weeks, we’re all going to be reunited with  Ted (Jason Sudeikis), lovable yet foul-mouthed Roy Kent  (Brett Goldstein), Keeley Jones (Juno Temple) and new rival Nate The Great (Nick Mohammed)!

After turning his back on Ted during the season two finale, Nate is first seen in his new role at West Ham United, however, we’re not sure everything is as it seems as he appeared to look sombre while drinking a glass of red wine.

As for lovebirds Roy and Keeley, they appear to be in a good place after they’re pictured holding hands as Keeley’s ex Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster) watches on.

Now it wouldn’t be Ted Lasso without a sprinkle of excessive cheer now would it!

The trailer concluded with the team getting in a group huddle with player Sam Obisanya (Toheeb Jimoh) saying: ‘I love you guys so very much.’

‘We are writing it like that. It was planned as three [seasons],’ he said.

In attempt to lift the mood, the star joked to The Sunday Times: ‘Spoiler alert — everyone dies.’
