There isn’t long to wait until The Mandalorian finally returns to Disney Plus with season 3, marking the long-awaited return of Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu.

The Star Wars spin-off has become a cultural phenomenon ever since it was first released in 2019, with season 2 having continued the characters’ journey in 2020.

Last year, Mando and Baby Yoda joined the cast of The Book of Boba Fett as their story became even more multi-layered, and they were reunited after their emotional separation.

Now that the beloved, father-son duo are back together, what adventures lie ahead for them?

Here’s what you need to know about how to watch the series.

What time does The Mandalorian drop on Disney Plus?

The Mandalorian season three is due to premiere on Wednesday March 1, with the first episode being available to watch on the platform from 8am GMT in the UK.

In the US, this will be 12am PT (Pacific Time) and 3am ET (Eastern Time).

If you’re in the UK and won’t have a chance to watch the episode first thing in the morning, you should probably stay off social media so that you can avoid any spoilers, which will definitely be discussed by fans the minute they hit play.

Following the premiere date, episodes of The Mandalorian will continue to come out on a weekly basis on Wednesdays.

How many episodes will there be in season 3?

There are eight episodes of The Mandalorian in the third season, the same number that there were in seasons one and two.

With the instalments coming out on a weekly basis, the season three finale is due to air on Wednesday April 19.

While it will be episode eight of the third season, each episode of The Mandalorian is a numbered chapter.

This means that the season three finale will actually be Chapter 24 of the story on the whole.

The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau has written all eight episodes of the third outing, five on his own and three with co-writers.

For episode three, he collaborated with Noah Kloor, while episodes four and seven saw him team up with executive producer Jon Filoni.

The Mandalorian is available to watch on Disney Plus, with new episodes released on Wednesdays.
