“Worthy of being champion”- Natalya Praises WWE Partner Tamina

You know you’ve made it in WWE as a wrestler when a WWE legend talks about you and your quality. Not all wrestlers are lucky enough to say that the legends of their field are their fans. However, something like this happened when Natalya Neidhart spoke her mind about Tamina Snuka.

Natalya On The Bump

On April 28, 2021, WWE’s official Twitter account put out a video of Natalya’s appearance on WWE’s The Bump along with other wrestlers like AJ Styles and Omos. There, she revealed her genuine feelings about Tamina,

“Tamina’s been in the shadows for over a decade. She’s so nice, she’s so sweet, she’s so humble. But what I’ve learnt first hand that being nice, sweet and humble doesn’t get you ahead, especially in WWE and this moment for her at WrestleMania was a chance for her to prove to the world that she is really — the dragon is alive and well and ready to take everything that’s her’s. You know she was one of the worldwide trends during WrestleMania. People were rallying behind Tamina because her story is so relatable. She really found herself and the people were chanting her name — for me to hear that. It made me so emotional even being in the match.”

Natalya remembers feeling emotional when she was out there in the ring because some people go their whole lives without realizing their dreams, and she never wanted that to be Tamina’s case. People are now looking at Tamina and realizing that she is worthy of being champion and carrying forward the women’s evolution.

Natalya states that, “Tamina is a diamond in the rough. Anyone that knows Nattie knows that I only — like the nicest things. — Tamina is a diamond and that is why she is with me because — I recognize quality and she is the highest quality female performer in the WWE.”

Tamina’s Reaction

Tamina was overwhelmed by Natalya’s words and became emotional during the interview. She even took to Twitter to express her appreciation towards the former Diva’s Champion. She wrote, “Thank you Baby G Natalya for being so great and amazing through this whole process. For believing in me. You have done so much and I’m so grateful to you!!!“
