WATCH: Dell Curry Saying ‘You’re Shooting Bricks, Man’ to Baby Steph Curry

Warriors’ talisman Steph Curry is arguably one of the greatest shooters to ever play the game. In the 11 seasons he has been in the NBA, he has perfected the art of shooting the three ball. Be it step back threes, or catch and shoot threes or off the dribble threes, Steph can do it all.

The ‘Baby Faced Assassin’ has been the fulcrum of a Warriors’ side who are clearly one of the most successful teams of the last decade. With his incredibly versatile scoring from the mid-range to his ability to space the floor, he is undoubtedly a wrecking ball for opposition’s defenses.

Father Dell Curry says you are shooting bricks to young Steph Curry

While Steph might be shocking the league with his lights out shooting right now, a couple of decades ago, it was Dell Curry who electrified the league with his shooting ability.

Recently, in an old interview, father Dell Curry was seen with his wife and a young Steph on the screen. While a baby Curry missed some shots, father Dell jokingly said, “Come on, man, you gotta make your first shot,” Later he added, “You’re shooting bricks, man.”

While Steph hasn’t stopped shooting, he is not bricking shots, rather making the most difficult of the shots in the league. With his incredible skill to shoot from anywhere in the half-court, Curry is practically a walking bucket.

What makes it more incredible is how efficient he is beyond the arc despite attempting the most number of three pointers per game at 8.5. With the Dubs’ offense relying on his ability to score, Curry is even attempting more threes with 12.1 per game and making 5.2 per game.

He just had a historic month of basketball, averaging 37.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists. If not for his offensive prowess on the floor, the Dubs might have faltered massively this season and could have seen themselves drop out of the play in spots as well.

Curry is breaking all kinds of records this season, and despite being years away from retiring from the game, he has truly become the greatest shooter ever.
