Roger Federer’s Laver Cup to have full audiences this season

Recently, there was an exciting announcement with regard to this year’s edition. The 2021 Laver Cup will be held in Boston and will have 100% seating capacity. This comes as great news because the events in the last year have been forced to go ahead without audiences or limited capacities. The event is scheduled to take place in September this year. It is usually held after the US Open.

In 2019, the Laver Cup was officially sanctioned as an ATP event.

Moving onto Federer, he did not play a single tournament since the Australian Open 2020. He was on the sidelines due to a knee injury and had to undergo two separate knee surgeries. The Swiss superstar returned at the ATP Doha Open 2021.
