I was so stunned when my new Zara top arrived that I thought it was a prank – then I put it on
SHE thought she was ordering a cute, elegant top from Zara.
So when Mh’y opened her parcel from the fashion store, she was left stunned by what was inside.

She’d bought it in a medium, but her hand was the same size as the topTikTok/mhyamclean
She also held a candle up in front of it for size referenceTikTok/mhyamclean
Despite initially thinking it was a prank, Mh’y then shared another video of herself modelling the top and matching midi skirtTiktok/mhyamclean

In fact, she was so surprised that she even thought it was a prank.
“Hi guys, I’m here just to show you the size of the top that’s arrived in the post today,” she said in her TikTok video.
“This is my hand for reference, this is the tag.”
The clip showed that her hand was actually almost as big as the top — and the tag took up most of it.
“So yeah, I can’t wait to put this on,” she laughed.
“I’m definitely a medium to large. I’m not really sure where the rest of the top is!”
She also held a candle in front of the top for size reference.
Among the people commenting on the video was one who wrote: “April Fools is soon. There’s no way this is real?”
And responding, Mh’y shared another video of her actually wearing the top and matching midi skirt.
“Not gonna lie, I thought it was a prank too,” she wrote in the caption.
“But she fit, kinda.”
“I was not expecting it to work but it looks great,” another commented.
“No waaayyyy, it looks so good as well!” someone else added.
Others insisted that the “popcorn-style” tops have been around for years.
In a description for the £29.99 on their website, Zara writes: “Garment with a complex pleated process that provides unique flexibility and recovery, adapting naturally to each body.”
As well as long-sleeved tops and skirts, there are halter tops, T-shirts and even dresses in the same material.
