Netflix’s Beef receives perfect Rotten Tomatoes score as fans brand comedy ‘best show ever’-Stella Akinwumi-Entertainment – Metro

Netflix’s latest comedy Beef has achieved a rare perfect 100 score on Rotten Tomatoes, and we totally understand why.

The action-packed 10-parter follows Amy Lau (Ali Wong) and Danny Cho(Steven Yeun) who collide after a road rage incident. However, they’re stunned to discover that they have more in common than they realise.

In addition to this, the streaming giant has hailed the comedy as an ‘edgy, smart, revenge fable’, and fans would definitely agree.

Beef currently sits at a perfect 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes score, meaning it is a must-see for TV enthusiasts.

And despite landing on Netflix three days ago, the show has already been labelled as the ‘best thing I’ve seen all year.’

An enthused fan tweeted: ‘BeefNetflix is some of the best TV I’ve seen in a while. @steveyeun and @aliwong need all the EMMYS bc this show is BRILLIANT. Ya’ll DID THATTTTTTTT!!!! WATCH IT on @netflix !! BRAVOOOOO.’

Steven Yeun and Ali Wong absolutely killed in their performances . The drama, humor, and heartfelt emotion within the screen was amazing. Generational trauma, expectations, and the burden of repressed fury was FELT. Definitely will sit with me for a long time. #BEEFNetflix pic.twitter.com/KcrxmzYiEJ

I just finished #BEEFNetflix #beef and wow. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while. Amazing performances all around. Yeun and wong are fantastic. Funny, thrilling and anxiety inducing. What a show. Netflix has a WINNER. pic.twitter.com/A1I7zrvyM5

Me trying to stay sane after watching the most riveting show in a while. They ate down with the casting, performances, and writing. Soundtracks were insane… A multilayered that touches on so many underlying issues(mental health, trauma, and familial duties). #BEEFNetflix pic.twitter.com/nQhf4DlQqv

No because I had to binge all of #BEEFNetflix in one night. My favorite thing I’ve watched since Severance. Actors slayed. Music slayed. Getting to see a diverse and majority Asian cast, a rare, beautiful slay. Layers yall. I’m gonna be thinking about this one for a whileee. pic.twitter.com/RGT66nAP5t

A series that you didn’t know you needed. Steven Yeun and Ali Wong with exceptional performances and Netflix has hit a jackpot again with this just like it did with Wednesday. The Emmys better be ready for them.#BEEFNetflix pic.twitter.com/CA8EtQISMv

Speaking about his character’s personality, The Walking Dead actor Steven said: ‘Danny is someone who’s trying to do a good job and do what he thinks he’s supposed to do, but from his eyes, it just seems like the world is out to take him down, and I can relate to that.’
