Logan Paul has put pen to paper on a new WWE contract and some fans are getting a sense of déjà vu.

The controversial YouTuber has been making waves in the world of wrestling for a year now, and he’s committed himself to more matches in the future just weeks after a strong showing at WrestleMania.

He revealed news of his new deal across his social media platforms on Monday with a picture of himself alongside WWE boss Triple H, real name Paul Levesque, and the obligatory bottle of Prime energy.

‘Contract renewed @WWE,’ he simply wrote, while Triple H added: ‘A proven Superstar on the biggest stage. Can’t wait to see what’s next for @LoganPaul.’

Some eagle eyed fans were quick to notice some similarities between the photo of the pair for the latest announcement, and the one WWE used to reveal his contract signing last summer.

One follower replied on Instagram: ‘Isn’t this the old picture but instead you edited Stephanie out and made your jacket yellow (also the blue raspberry prime is yellow) (sic)’

Indeed, the original shot from last year shows Logan in a blue jacket in the exact same pose, with Triple H on one side and Stephanie McMahon – who was serving as WWE’s chair and president at the time – on the other.

‘It literally is,’ laughed a second person, while a third added: ‘Lol yeah it’s a terrible edit’.

Over on Twitter, another fan wrote: ‘Fair play to whoever photoshopped this blue jacket into yellow :)’

A different social media user tried to offer a sensible (/boring) explanation, noting: ‘I like the blue more but I guess it’s to keep his colour scheme from WWE entertained.’

Logan fell short against Rollins at WrestleMania, having lost in a massive main event against current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns following a win over The Miz, who he teamed with in his debut in May 2022 to beat Rey and Dominik Mysterio.

The star admitted it’s becoming harder to top his own displays in the ring, but fans are eager to see what matches await him as he continues his growth in the business.
