Tyson Fury Feels Canelo Alvarez Carries the ‘Fear Factor’ Like Mike Tyson and Himself

In the modern boxing era, Canelo Alvarez has made an astonishing statement. He is the pound-for-pound king of the game, looking super-strong to register his name in the history books for many more years to come. Besides fans, Alvarez has also impressed his fellow boxers like Tyson Fury.

Recently, ‘The Gypsy King’, who was in a chat with FightHype.com, shared his notion on the Mexican boxer. Fury said, “Canelo is an excellent fighter, great fighter.”

You know people are going in there lost before they even lose the fight. Just like that fear factor of Mike Tyson or fighting ‘The Gypsy King’. People are scared before they get in there and they already lose.”

Although Fury had some words of appreciation for Saul Alvarez, he still feels Canelo can be beaten.

This weekend, Fury’s fellow countryman and training partner, Billy Joe Saunders, will lock horns with Alvarez. Fury feels Billy Joe Saunders isn’t scared at all to take on Canelo Alvarez in a 12-round war. He even added that ‘Superb’ came out of his mother’s womb with fighting fists and he’s fought much bigger battles outside the ring.

Can Billy Joe Saunders stand tall to the buzz created around him for the Canelo Alvarez fight?

Ever since this fight got official, ‘Superb’ put himself through rigorous training sessions. He doesn’t wish to leave any stones unturned in preparations for this fight, because the collision will play a pivotal role in molding his career.

If Saunders somehow puts on clinical performance and ends up on the winning vertical, this bout will undeniably go down as one of the biggest upsets in the sport.

Canelo (55-1-2) is definitely the favorite in this fight. But the underdog, Saunders, will look to disrupt his opponent’s plans to chase undisputed glory. That said, this unified super-middleweight contest has all the ingredients to make this the biggest boxing encounter of all time.

Who do you think will emerge with the belts on Saturday night?
