I’m a size 16 & I did a mega denim shorts haul from Next…one pair was a huge fail and don’t get me started on the sizing
A WOMAN ordered a mega haul of denim shorts from Next – but was left with mixed emotions when she tried them on.
Lauren Edge, a size 16 mum and a ‘body acceptance’ influencer, explained that while one pair of shorts were a total winner, another pair was an absolute fail and she couldn’t even get them on.

Showing off her new denims on TikTok, the fashionista said: “It’s getting hot outside, so it’s that time of year again.
“It is my Next denim shorts haul.”
To kick off the haul, Lauren tried on a pair of blue shorts, as she said: “First up we’ve got these from Simply Be.
“I would say a solid 7.5 – the denim is soft, it’s got stretch to it, they’re comfy – like if you wanna be comfy in denim shorts, these are the ones.”
Lauren then tried on the next pair of shorts in her haul, but she wasn’t too impressed.
She continued: “Didn’t have a model wearing these, they looked a lot nicer in the picture.
“They are like three quarter lengths on me, this style doesn’t do anything for me.”
Following this, Lauren tried on another pair of denims – this time a pair of bleach, ripped shorts.
She added: “These are next – boy short, mid rise.
“I personally don’t like how low they come, so I’m hoisting them up, but I think they are a lot more flattering.
“There’s something about them, but I don’t love them, so I will give these a 6.”
As she struggled to get on the next pair, she noted: “I took a gamble and I tried some Lipsy ones and I knew their sizing was dodgy because I tried them before and I’ve had the same experience.
“So this is a message to Lipsy – your sizing is Donkey Doo Doo.
“I’m never buying from you ever again.”
But luckily for the mother, things soon looked up, as she tried on a pair of mid-blue denim shorts and highlighted: “Finally a winner.
“The only thing extra I’d want from this pair of shorts is if they were just a tiny little bit longer to help with the chub rub.
“Apart from that, they’re awesome. They’ve got stretch, they’re comfy, they’re soft.
“I like that it’s a cut off edge. Perfect.
“Finally a winner. Solid 8.5.”
The final pair of shorts also had Lauren impressed, as she said: “These were worth the wait. I had to wait in a couple more days for these to come.
“Winners. Hands down. Winners. They’re perfect.
“Great length. Hands down, they are a 10.”
Lauren shared her clip just three days ago, but it has clearly left many impressed, as it has quickly amassed 10.6k views.
