I’m a charity shop whizz and always buy five things second-hand… here’s where to get designer bags at rock-bottom prices
A CHARITY shop pro is proving you don’t need to fork out to get luxury and designer clothing and jewellery.
The fashion fan has shared five items she only buys second hand for rock-bottom prices.

Monica Marriott-Mills shared her list in a TikTok video online she said:
“Here are five luxury items that I only buy second hand.”
Starting strong Monica only ever buys designer Louis Vuitton bags from charity shops.
She said: “First up we have monogrammed Louis Vuitton. I actually prefer the look of aged monogrammed Louis Vuitton. I think it just comes into its own.”
“And if you buy this secondhand you can get such a good bargain you do not need to pay full price.”
“This here is a gorgeous clutch. You can actually use it as a makeup bag. I use it for a mixture of things. I think it looks so chic, so elegant. And I got this for over 50% of the RRP over on my Instagram.”
The next item Monica only buys second hand is super soft cashmere.
She said: “Number two is actually what I’m wearing right now and that is cashmere.”
“I am such a cashmere lover. It’s so soft, it’s timeless, it’s elegant, but you don’t need to spend hundreds of pounds on it. I often find cashmere in charity shops or I look on secondhand sites.”
The fashion fan added you can get good quality cashmere scarves and other items as well as jumpers.

“And this doesn’t just need to include jumpers, this includes things like scarfs as well.”
Monica only buys sunglasses second-hand.
“Number three, and that’s sunglasses.”
She explained: “These here are a pair of vintage Valentino sunglasses. I bought these. I think for about £45 on Depop.”
“Definitely have a look on places like eBay, Vesta Collective, Depop and you’ll find so many designer sunglasses on there in classic, timeless shapes.”
“You don’t need to buy them firsthand. You can get yourself such a good pair of sunnies at a great price.”
Monica says if you want designer jewellery look online for second-hand jewellery bargains.
“Number four. On the topic of accessories, it has to be costume designer jewellery.”
“These here are a pair of vintage Christian Dior clip on earrings. I got these for £90 on eBay I bid on them and I won.”
“I have a great collection of vintage designer jewellery that I’ve bought all secondhand.”
“Here’s a couple of images from my Instagram and in my opinion some of the best quality jewellery is the vintage stuff I just feel like they did it much better back then.”
Lastly Monica buys designer blazers second hand as well. “
“Number five it has to be designer blazers blazer I’m wearing right now is by Armani I got it at the Mind Camden charity shop.”
“This here is Max Mara and I found this whilst thrifting in Madrid, both of these blazers cost me under £35.”
