Gillian McKeith’s daughter Afton insisted she’d ‘never be ashamed’ of being linked to her mum despite using her dad’s surname.
The Scottish star is married to American lawyer Howard Magaziner, and the couple share daughters Skylar and Afton.
Actress Afton and mum Gillian have always had a close bond and are often seen wearing matching outfits, but the young star goes by Afton Magaziner.
However, the movement coach expressed that she is not ‘ashamed,’ but knows when to draw the line when it comes to dating.
Speaking about her brief involvement with an unnamed Made In Chelsea star, Afton told The Sun: “’He would just be asking about my mum like, “How’s your mum?”‘
‘I was thinking, “do you want to date me or my mom? Maybe I should call my mom right now and you can go on a date with her.”‘

She continued: ‘I remember on a date with him, he tried to kiss me, but I had to dodge his kiss because I was so turned off by him asking me about my mum.’
Understandable!
Nutritionist Gillian recently headed back to the jungle to compete in the all-star spin-off I’m A Celebrity…South Africa.
Gillian didn’t survive long enough to be punished for sneaking contraband into camp, as she and Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder were sent packing.
Yep, the famous I’m A Celeb fainter smuggled everything but the kitchen sink in, inside a pair of massive padded knickers.

And as if that wasn’t wild enough, she also brought in sea salt inside a condom!
Reflecting on her time in camp, the TV star said she was ‘sad to leave’ because she wanted to stay.
But she managed to leave with a new friend, after a feud with Shaun 13 years earlier during their 2010 stint in the Australian jungle.
‘I’ve won!’, Shaun declared. ‘I knew we’d come full circle, happy days! Now we’re off to get married.’
