Jedward make an appearance as excitement builds in Liverpool ahead of Eurovision Grand Final-Pierra Willix-Entertainment – Metro
They went the only throwback act!

They famously represent Ireland twice in Eurovison and now Jedward have sent fans crazy when performing ahead of the 2023 Grand Final.
The identical twin brothers, real names John and Edward Grimes, first hit our screens way back in 2009 when they auditioned for the sixth season of The X Factor, where they were mentored by Louis Walsh and eventually finished in sixth place.
Two years later they represented their home country at Eurovision for the first time with their track Lipstick, which saw them come sixth again.
However when competing the following year, they placed 19th with their song Waterline.
The result did nothing to slow down the support of their fans though, with the duo just as popular as ever, as evident by the fact that they send crowds into a frenzy when performing in Liverpool on Saturday.
Joining an all-star line-up including Vengaboys, Katrina from Eurovision winners Katrina and the Waves as well as Claire Richards from Steps, the 31-year-old twins were part of the Euro Village line-up.

Clearly putting on an epic show, the twins were seen leaning over into the crowd to get up close to their fans.
Earlier this week they also posted some photos from inside Liverpool Arena, where they were rocking epic sparkly suits for the celebrations.
‘Eurovision 2023 we’re in you! Euroclub and Eurovillage let’s rock it! So much Jepic vibes,’ they wrote.

While Ireland holds the record number of Eurovision wins with a total of seven, it’s entry for this year failed to qualify for the grand final.
Band Wild Youth and their track We Are One was not selected in the semi-final on Tuesday.
The last time the country made it to the grand final was in 2018.
Since their start on reality TV Jedward have become known for speaking their minds, including speaking out against their former mentor at times.
In 2021 they aim at the television judge.
‘Louis Walsh at this point only wants acts to manage to make it look like he’s doing something!’ they tweeted.

They also warned other aspiring stars against getting involved with ‘toxic management’.
The Eurovision 2023 final is on BBC One tonight from 8pm.
