Harrison Ford may have just won a lifetime achievement award, but the people have just crowned him the best meme of the 76th Cannes Film Festival.

The Hollywood veteran is stealing the show at this year’s French festival as he scooped an honorary Palme d’Or for lifetime achievement during the premiere of Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny.

This was the legend’s fifth time reprising the historic role, and this time he was joined by Fleabag superstar Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who played Indiana’s goddaughter, Helena Shaw.

And so the 80-year-old took to the red carpet under the arm of his wife of 13 years, Calista Flockhart, 58, looking smitten as ever.

But one picture in particular had fans spinning over the adorable couple, and it was taken before Harrison and Calista headed out to face the crowds.

As she stood in a beautiful mesh and velvet black dress, Harrison appeared to think his wife looked rather good as he watched her in awe.

So much so, Harrison is now an instant meme with his adoring facial expression, which is a hilarious mixture of shock and love.

Fans were, naturally, loving it, as one wrote: ‘Still absolutely besotted. This is a warm fuzzies type of picture. Very cute.’

Another said: ‘This picture deserves an Oscar.’

‘That’s so cute,’ chimed in another, as someone else commented: ‘He’s so in love with her.’

As if this legendary snap wasn’t enough to prove their bond is tighter than ever, Harrison paid tribute to his other half in his acceptance speech.

Visibly choked up, he said: ‘They say before you die, you see your life flash before your eyes, and I just saw my life flash before my eyes. A great part of my life, but not all of my life.

‘My life has been enabled by my wife, who supported my passion and my dreams, and I’m grateful.

‘You’ve given my life purpose and meaning, and I’m grateful for that. So grateful.

‘I’m deeply moved by this honor … But I’ve got a movie you’ve got to see, it’s right behind me so let me get out of the way.’

Before marrying in 2010, the pair dated for a decade and they share one adopted son, 22-year-old Liam.
