Escape To The Chateau’s Angel Strawbridge ‘caught launching a foul-mouth attack at a Channel 4 producer in leaked audio’.

The report of the recording comes after it was announced that husband-wife duo Dick and Angel were under investigation by Channel 4 as the broadcaster cut ties with them.

It was previously alleged that a clash had occurred between the television stars and producers on the programme, which now appears to have been leaked.

In audio obtained by Deadline and heard by Metro.co.uk, it is claimed that Angel can be heard calling a member of the film crew a ‘f****d up little c**t’.

During the incident, a woman said to be Angel says her husband speaks to people like ‘a piece of s**t’.

She also questions producers about a delay, in which she was left waiting for 15 minutes, and fumes about Instagram posts.

She then seethes: ‘Who is that inspired by when you’re f*****g working at the chateau?

‘Just tell me that and then you can f*****g leave and this is me f*****g angry because I think you’re a f****d up little c**t actually.’

She continues: ‘Do not work in this chateau and then post dark, weird pictures that I find quite insulting, and do not smirk.

‘You know what, you can just f**k off.’

The publication notes that the clip was recorded during filming on one of the first four seasons of Channel 4’s Escape to the Chateau.

This comes after sources alleged Dick and Angel clashed with producers, previously telling Deadline: ‘There has been a deteriorating relationship between Two Rivers and Dick and Angel’s Chateau TV for various reasons and it all came to a head.’

‘Producers turn them into this perfect, brilliant, funny couple. They’re that on camera, but that’s about it,’ another source added.

However, one producer described them as ‘warm and welcoming.’

Channel 4 had ordered an independent investigation into their conduct, which has now concluded.

A spokesperson for the channel previously told Metro.co.uk: ‘Following a review, we have taken the decision not to work with Dick and Angel on any new productions in the future.’

‘We can confirm that we will no longer work with Dick and Angel and cannot comment further at the moment,’ added Two Rivers.

In 2021, sources from Escape To The Chateau’s former production company, Spark Media, claimed to The Times Dick and Angel were ‘abusive and bullying’ and had made filming an ‘an anxiety-inducing ordeal’.

The couple denied the allegations of aggressive and bullying behaviour to the publication at the time.

Dick and Angel are yet to comment on the fresh waves of claims concerning their conduct although Dick returned to social media on Thursday.

Escape To The Chateau premiered in 2016 and drew to a close after nine seasons, with the final episode being released in December.

Back in October, the couple insisted it was their decision to quit the programme.

A representative for the Strawbridges declined to comment to Deadline, while Metro.co.uk has approached Channel 4 and their reps for comment.
