‘Away From My Family’-Conor McGregor Reveals Important Change in His Training for Dustin Poirier Fight

Conor McGregor was supremely confident, going into his rematch against Dustin Poirier. The former two-division world champion stated that he would end the fight within 60 seconds. While ‘Mystic Mac’ has been accurate with his predictions more often than not, this time around ‘The Notorious’ got it extremely wrong.

The Irish fighter was stopped in the second round of the fight by ‘The Diamond’ to even the scores at one win apiece. Conor McGregor has only ever had one rematch in his entire career when he faced Nate Diaz at UFC 202. If his performance in a rematch against Nate Diaz is anything to go by, fans are in for a treat only July 10th.

Conor McGregor shares his thoughts on his children going into MMA

Recently Conor McGregor took time out of his day to answer questions for fans. Fans flooded with questions as ‘The Notorious’ put out a #asknotorious tweet.

One such fan asked McGregor if he would encourage his children into MMA to which the Irish superstar replied, “Yes! I’ve been training my son since day 1. He will be ready if he decides too. I am going to do this fight away from the family also. For a change. Fights and boppies and cuddles is a hard one to balance. I’m going into this one a wild dog.”

Conor McGregor has to address a few areas and has to make a few changes if he is to beat Dustin Poirier in the rematch. The former champion has a solid team behind him marshaled by head coach John Kavanagh and striking coach Owen Roddy. However, it appears as though Conor McGregor has not started training camp yet as he is still in Dubai where he has been since UFC 257. For his rematch against Poirier, McGregor and his team set up training camp in Portugal.

With the fight exactly two months away, fans will be hoping that McGregor starts his training camp as early as possible and makes the necessary changes for him to secure a win in the trilogy fight.
