A video and photos of Phillip Schofield with the younger male colleague he had an affair with at This Morning have resurfaced.

Phillip, 61, admitted to having the affair while he was married to his wife Stephanie Lowe on Friday, one week after stepping down from hosting the hit ITV1 daytime show for over two decades.

Now, a number of photos of the pair – including one showing the production assistant on stage with Phillip and the rest of the This Morning family as they accepted a National Television Award in 2018 – have reappeared online.

Additionally, there is a video of his former lover – who is not in the public eye – interviewing Phillip as part of his showreel, when he asks what the seasoned presenter’s hopes for the future are.

In the video seen by MailOnline, Phillip is seen saying to the production assistant in a mock interview, ‘See you in three years.’

The man then asks, ‘I wonder what we’ll both be doing then?,’ to which Phillip replies, ‘Well if I’m still getting away with it, I’ll be a happy man.’

Phillip’s former co-host Holly Willoughby also appears in the video, sitting alongside the assistant on the show’s famous sofa, with him asking her what she made of his presenting skills.

‘Well that was very good, actually,’ she says. ‘Tell you what, don’t get too comfy sitting on this sofa – if Phil spots you after that there’ll be trouble.’

He then jokes, ‘There you go, watch out Schofe,’ with Phillip jokingly shouting back, ‘Oi, you b*****d!’

Eammon Holmes and Ruth Langsford, who used to host This Morning on Fridays, are also seen being interviewed by the production assistant in the showreel.

Phillip sensationally admitted to the affair on Friday in a bombshell statement to MailOnline.

He wrote, ‘The first thing I want to say is: I am deeply sorry for having lied to them, and to many others about a relationship that I had with someone working on This Morning.

‘I did have a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague at This Morning.

‘Contrary to speculation, whilst I met the man when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television, it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than just a friendship. That relationship was unwise, but not illegal. It is now over.’

Holly Willoughby claims she had no knowledge of the relationship, writing in her own statement on Saturday, ‘It has taken time to process yesterday’s news.

‘When reports of this relationship first surfaced, I asked Phil directly if this was true and was told it was not. It’s been very hurtful to now find out that this was a lie.’

ITV say they investigated the relationship in early 2020 when rumours about it began to circulate.

Their own statement read, ‘Both parties were questioned and both categorically and repeatedly denied the rumours as did Phillip’s then agency YMU.

‘In addition, ITV spoke to a number of people who worked on This Morning and were not provided with, and did not find, any evidence of a relationship beyond hearsay and rumour.’
