The first Britain’s Got Talent live-semi final is over – and we have our first two finalists!

Monday night saw eight acts take to the stage in the hopes of impressing the judges but more importantly the viewers at home, as only their votes can send them through.

The show got off to a flying start, well, quite literally, as Ant McPartlin took a spectacular tumble just minutes after cameras started rolling.

But, like a true pro, he laughed it off and the show must go on, so the semi-finalists took to the stage and gave it their all.

United 2 Dance, Gamal John, Ichikawa Koikuchi, Enzo Weyne, Parkour Collective, Abi Carter-Simpson, Amy Lou, and Musa Motha all gave stellar performances, all taking things up a notch from their first auditions.

We had everything from powerhouse vocals to dance troupes, and from magic tricks to, erm, farting?

Congratulations to our very first FINALIST of #BGT 2023, @musa_motha95!

Alas, not everyone could make it through, with Ant and Dec first announcing the three acts with the most votes.

Amy Lou, Musa Motha, and Abi Carter-Simpson all made up the top three, and it was Musa who was crowned tonight’s winner after wowing with his dancing.

It was then up to the judges to decide who would fill the second slot, with Bruno Tonioli and Amanda Holden choosing Amy Lou, and Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell opting for Abi.

It then reverted to the public vote, which sent Amy Lou through!

The new mum was in shock as the audience erupted into cheers.

More to come.
