Celebrities love festivals, both on and off the stage.

So, if you’re heading to a festival yourself, you may as well try and bag a cheeky selfie, right?

From reality TV stars to influencers, and from sporting legends to actual A-list movie stars, you could truly bump into anyone at a festival, and perhaps even one of the headliners!

Check out our round-up of the best festivals for spotting celebs in 2023…

Glastonbury

Where is it? Pilton, Somerset

Glasto is the celeb hotspot, it’s a fact.

Every year, celebrities flock to Worthy Farm to get in on the action and are often seen donning wellies and raincoats, fully in the festival spirit.

In 2022, Sienna Miller, Niall Horan, Brie Larson, and Tilda Swinton were all spotted.

There were even sightings of Game of Thrones star Kit Harington and actual royalty Princess Beatrice, who joined the revellers with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Stormzy also attempted to go incognito as he mingled with the crowds and rushed up to Billie Eilish for a hug (so be aware that the stars may be in disguise if you are on the lookout!)

Glastonbury 2023 has a stellar line-up and will see Sir Elton John headline as he completes his final tour.

Blondie, Becky Hill, Aitch, Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey, Carly Rae Jepsen, Guns N’ Roses, Lewis Capaldi, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, and Raye are also confirmed.

Isle of Wight

Isle of Wight festival also attracts A-listers.

Peter Crouch and wife Abbey Clancy, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, Fleur East, and Ronan Keating have all appeared in recent years.

Not only that, but Friends actress Courteney Cox was spotted making friends as she accompanied her Snow Patrol keyboard and guitar player partner, Johnny McDaid – yes, really!

Fiona Bruce has also been known to ditch the TV studio for Seaclose Park to enjoy a boogie.

This year, Isle of Wight will welcome headliners Pulp, George Ezra, The Chemical Brothers, and Robbie Williams across three days.

Other big performers include One Republic, Sugababes, N-Dubz, Anne-Marie, James Bay, Mika, Sam Ryder, and Ella Henderson.

Parklife

Parklife is one of the hottest events in Manchester, meaning you’re bound to spot some of your fave northern stars wandering around.

Ryan Thomas and Lucy Mecklenburgh are no strangers to the bash, while Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are also known to love a festival.

Love Islanders like Chloe Burrows, Amber Davies, and Georgia Harrison and Made In Chelsea’s Emily Blackwell have rocked up in the past too.

This year, Parklife welcomes The 1975, Little Simz, Aitch, Becky Hill, Self Esteem, Mimi Webb, Raye, and The Prodigy, who will all perform.

Festival-goers can also expect DJ sets from Annie Mac, DJ Paulette, Honey Dijon, Eliza Rose, and Shy FX.

Past years have also seen Conor Maynard, Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn, Ella Eyre, Emile Sande, Laura Whitmore, Jameela Jamil, and Jade Thirlwall mingling with the crowds.

Last year, none other than David Beckham attended, and he was more than happy to stop for selfies and chat with fans.

Perhaps he’s planning another trip this summer?
