A woman with ‘maggots in between her toes’ has detailed her devastation after being sent home from hospital with ‘no help’.

In an upcoming episode of Dr Pimple Popper, a patient’s crusted over, rough feet are shown as she seeks help.

Patches of her skin are raw and moist, while elsewhere they’re completely covered in hard, dry skin, with flies circling around.

This isn’t one for the faint-hearted.

The TLC reality programme sees patients all over America seeking help from Dr Sandra Lee.

From a heart-breaking story of a grandad living trapped ‘like a hermit’ in his house because he’s too ’embarrassed’ by his plum-sized nose, to a burst cyst smelling like ‘death’ and looking like ‘scrambled eggs’, there’s nothing she hasn’t seen.

But this stomach-churning clip is like nothing before.

In the preview, the patient begins: ‘I found maggots between my toes.

‘Then my son came over and said, “You can’t stay here like this anymore.

‘”You have to go into the hospital.”

‘So I went into the hospital.’

She continues: ‘The nurses came in and cleaned up the wounds.

‘They did an X-ray to make sure the maggots hadn’t gotten into the bone, and sent me home.

‘I’ve been through many doctors, over the years, and no one has been able to help.’

While some viewers have been left utterly disgusted, others are heartbroken at her tragic story.

One wrote: ‘I pray she gets the healing she needs… amen.’

Another penned: ‘I can smell this right through my device.’

‘Omg,’ several others said, while someone else wrote: ‘@TLC why u doing us like this, what did we do. We will stop immediately.’

This comes after another of Dr Lee’s patients spoke about living in ‘itchy hell’ because of his ‘crocodile skin’.

Jimmy, whose body is covered in dry skin that often bleeds due to itching, is in so much pain that he can’t even wear clothes.

He explains: ‘These bumps are all over my legs, my arms, my back, my chest, feels like I’m running my fingers over a crocodile. Being in my skin, it’s an itchy hell.’

He continues: ‘Everyday it’s a hell waking up, I know I’m going to be scratching and what not, I try to occupy my mind with other things just to keep my mind off it. 90% of my body is covered.’

The video then cuts to uncomfortable clips of Jimmy itching over his body and pulling at his dry skin.

‘Because clothes hurt so bad, I have to wear shorts and no shirt or just a tank top,’ Jimmy says.

‘The worst part of my body are my legs. With the scratching and everything, if I don’t keep my fingernails short, I’m just ripping the skin and sometimes it bleeds really badly.’

Dr Pimple Popper airs on TLC in America.
